2025 NC Make It With Wool Competition
Make It With Wool is a competition to promote the beauty and versatility of wool fabrics, yarns and fibers. The National Make It With Wool contest is entering its 78th year of competition . It is sponsored by the American Wool Council, the American Sheep Industry, and the American Sheep Industry Women. The program is administered by an all-volunteer group of State Directors, the National Advisory Board and a National Coordinator.
North Carolina Sheep Producers Association, Inc. is the sponsor of the NC Make It With Wool Competition to be held on September 27, 2025. The NC MIWW Directors are Yvonne Haskins & Corrie Klokow. There are categories for all ages and all skill levels are accepted. Participants must meet the National and State Guidelines. The entry must have been completed after January 1, 2025. Categories include: Little Sewers ( ages 5-8 ), Pre-Teen ( ages 9-12 ), Junior ( ages 13-16 ), Senior ( ages 17-24 ) and Adult ( age 25 and over ). Junior, Senior, and Adult NC first place winners may be eligible to compete at the National MIWW held each year at the American Sheep Industry Convention. Junior and Senior National winners may receive Scholarships and other Special National Awards and prizes.
